Director Policy & Projects
The MHCA is seeking a senior manager experienced in high level advocacy and strategic thinking, to lead our policy, projects and research team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional research and policy analysis skills, outstanding persuasive communication ability and a strong desire to contribute to better mental health outcomes nationally. The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $110,000 (including super) depending on experience.
Policy & Project Officer
We are seeking a dynamic Policy & Project Officer to develop successful strategies, policy and programs on mental health and to manage various MHCA projects. The ideal candidate will value consultation and engagement with MHCA members and stakeholders, enjoy being an advocate and have excellent policy, research and project management skills. The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $83,000 (including super) depending on experience.
Administration/Project Officer
We are seeking an experienced Administration/Project Officer to work with the National Mental Health Consumer & Carer Forum (auspiced by the MHCA) and National Register of Consumer and Carer Representatives (a MHCA project). The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with and on behalf of mental health consumers and carers, excellent communication and organisation skills, and wish to enhance the profile of mental health consumer and carer issues. The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $68,000 (including super) depending on experience.
Each of these positions is being offered full time; although near to full time will be considered (e.g. 30 hours per week). MHCA is a registered charity and attractive salary packaging arrangements are available. MHCA also promotes a healthy work/life balance and is committed to offering employees supportive family friendly work practices.
MHCA has recently undertaken a small restructure and is planning to recruit for similar positions shortly (funding pending). We may employ staff for new positions from this recruitment round.
