MHCA Member Application
Welcome!
There are a few things you need to consider before beginning your application form.
- Membership of the MHCA is open to organisations that work in mental health or that are able to contribute to the Council meeting its purpose and objectives.
- To become an MHCA member your organisation must be nominated by a current MHCA member organisation. See MHCA Members
- Once your completed application is submitted it will be forwarded by the MHCA Secretary/Treasurer to the MHCA Board for consideration. You will be notified as soon as possible of the outcome, and if your application has been approved, you will be invited to pay your fees to become an active member of the Council.
- Annual fees for members are: $110.00 including gst Fees are due on June 30 each year and in the first year calculated on a pro-rata basis. Membership is not active until fees are paid. This can be done through the MHCA payment gateway on this site or by mailing a cheque or money order. For contact details see the contact us page.
- We recommend that you obtain copies of the MHCA Constitution, Strategic Plan and most recent Annual Report. You can find copies of these documents on this website. See About the Mental Health Council of Australia

Note that the MHCA application form will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. However, you can 'save and exit' and return to the site in the future to continue the application. Just log back in using the user name and password you have created.

User Name and Password
To start your application form you first need to create a user name and password. We suggest making your user name the acronym of your organisation e.g. MHCA.
Remember that these will be the username and password you will need to use for future access to continue your application form, and once your application has been accepted and activated, to access MHCA member information.
